My 365 Project – Month 2

Here comes the second installment of my 365 project – a personal project where I have set myself the challenge to take and share a photograph every day of the year.

There was lots going on this month. We made the most of the blossom (despite the not-so-brilliant spring weather) by having a picnic under the trees .  There were two trips to Germany to visit my sister and my parents, and a visit from the grandparents from Cornwall. Unfortunately, both mine and Steve’s family live a long way away so it’s always so lovely to get the chance to hang out with them.  And to photograph Cosmo with the people that play such an important part in his childhood.

I also took my first self-portrait.  I set up the camera whilst Cosmo and I were playing on the bed. He loves a bit of rough and tumble!  I am hoping to take more self-portraits going forward.  There are so many pictures of Cosmo and his Dad but very few of myself as I’m always the one taking the photos.  It will be nice to have some to look back on in years to come. It’s always interesting to see what your Mum looked like, the games you played, the interactions you had etc.
