It was a pleasure to return to the Peasant in Clerkenwell. Such a great, friendly and colourful pub. And the perfect setting for a relaxed wedding reception like Natalie and Ben’s.
Natalie and Ben got married on a gorgeous autumn day (my favourite season) at Islington Town Hall. They both come from large families so siblings played a big part in the celebrations.
Natalie and Ben kept things informal by meeting up outside the Town Hall and making their way in together. Close friends and family joined them to witness the couple tying the knot. After a very sweet and touching ceremony (and some pictures on the steps), we moved on to a wonderful London Pub – the Peasant in Clerkenwell. Natalie and Ben were greeted by the rest of their guests and celebration got properly underway.
The speeches were hilarious and had everyone (including me) in stitches. The food, as always at The Peasant, was delicious. And after lots of mingling and shared stories and laughter, everyone was ready to hit the dance floor.
Natalie and Ben, it was so great spending the day with you. What a fun celebration! May your married life continue in that way.
