This was the first chance I got to photograph a Town Hall Hotel wedding, and it was simply wonderful.
The Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green is a very funky, elegant and unique location, with its gorgeous mix of old and new…and it smells delicious (I forgot to ask what make of air freshener they use).
The Town Hall Hotel made the perfect backdrop for Claire and Alex’ chic yet relaxed East London wedding. They kept things simple and non-traditional with palm trees instead of flowers and bowl food for the guests.
I joined Claire and her ‘best women’ in her beautiful suite for the bridal preparations. The photograph of Claire’s friends reaction to seeing Claire in her wedding dress must be one of my favourite pictures of 2019.
It was an emotional, fun and heartfelt day with lots of laughter, hugs and tears. My personal highlight was a song written and performed by Alex’ Dad.
