Privacy Policy

Welcome to “Annelie Eddy Photography”.

This is probably not the most exciting page on my website but privacy and safekeeping of my client’s personal data is very important to me. This privacy policy tells you a bit more about how I do this.

Your Personal Data

Personal information means any information that may be used to identify you, such as, your name, title, phone number, email address, or mailing address.

What information do I collect and why?

When you send me an enquiry via email or the contact form on my website, I collect your name, email address, phone number (optional) as well as details about your wedding day.  I use this information to communicate with you about your wedding day.  I do not add you to a mailing list nor do I sell your information to any third parties.

If you do book with me, I will ask you for your postal address. I use this to send you your USB stick/prints/album in the post.  I do not sell this information to any third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

How do I keep the information safe?

It is really important to me to keep your information secure.  To do this, I have put the necessary physical, electronic and managerial procedures and processes in place.

Who do I share your personal data with?

I only share your contact details with my album provider, SWPM (South West Photo Mounts), so they can put your album in the post for you. Nobody else.

How long do I keep personal data for?

For clients who enquire but don’t book, I will keep personal data on file for six months.

For clients who do choose to work with me, I keep personal data for five years after your wedding date. This is so I can contact you, should the need arise, e.g. ask your permission to use your photos on a wedding blog or get supplier recommendations from you.

What are your rights when it comes to personal data?

You have the right to request access to the personal data I hold about you, free of charge. You also have the right to correct your personal data when incorrect, out of date or incomplete. Whenever you have given me your consent to use your personal data, you have the right to change your mind at any time and withdraw that consent.

A cookie in no way gives me access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with me.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.
