” Thank you so much for all the work that you have put in to our photos! We are so delighted with the way you have captured so many of our special moments, we really cannot thank you enough. Each photo is really a work of art in it’s own right, we want to frame every single one of them! You really are very talented .”~Camilla + Rishi
I’m so pleased to share Camilla and Rishi’s magical winter wedding at The Ned Hotel today – my first wedding of 2019. And what a great day it was!
Camilla and Rishi are both British but met at a squash court in California where they now live. They decided to get married in the beautiful City of London (as well as having an Indian wedding later this year in the States) and they did it in style!
This was my first time working at stunning The Ned hotel, a fabulous renovation of the 1920s Midlands Bank Headquarters. The glamorous interiors made an amazing backdrop for photographs, as did the terrace with views of St Paul’s Cathedral.
Despite the luxurious setting, there was nothing stiff or formal about the day – it was filled with warmth, laughter and great speeches.
One of my favourite photographs from the day (and it’s hard to choose) is one of Camilla and Rishi practising their first dance. There is something really magical about the two of them dancing together in such a grand, empty space.
Congratulations Camilla and Rishi! Thank you for making my start to my 2019 wedding season so special. I wish you all the happiness in the world.
Thank you also to the wonderful Louise from Shrinking Violet Photography who helped me with lights and equipment (amongst other things) on this dark January day.
