What a beautiful day this was!
I met Katie and Tom just a few weeks before their wedding. I knew straight away that it was going to be a gorgeous day indeed. They are both such kind, fun and gracious people who wanted to spend an amazing day with their family and friends.
Katie got ready in an Air BnB in Sydenham surrounded by her family and best friend. Her two little flower girls were very sweet and excited about the day and there was a lot of love and laughter in the air.
Katie and Tom got married at the beautiful Lady of La Salette and St Joseph’s church, which is just a stone’s throw away from London Bridge. The ceremony was performed by one of the friendliest and kindest vicars I have come across. Katie and Tom are both actors and have lots of talented friends who performed the music for the ceremony. The singing was amazing and soon the whole church joined in. It was a very joyous occasion.
After the ceremony everyone walked to a little park, which is overlooked by the Shard, for a casual champagne reception. We then made our way to the wonderful Tanner Warehouse for Katie and Tom’s wedding reception. This was the first time I had visited Tanner warehouse and it was love at first sight. Such a unique and funky venue! I will definitely be going back to sample their weekend brunch.
Instead of buying a big wedding cake, Katie and Tom asked friends to bake a cake for them, which resulted in a magnificent cake buffet with lots of scrumptious creations. The speeches were wonderful and included a poem from a close friend of Katie and Tom’s that had everyone reach for the tissues.
Katie and Tom – Congratulations to the wonderful two of you! I wish you a long and happy life together!
If you are planning a Tanner Warehouse wedding, do get in touch. I would love to hear from you.
