Esra and Ian’s colourful Stoke Newington pub wedding took me back to the wonderfully unique Londesborough, This was my third wedding there this year but I’m always surprised by how different each wedding I shoot is, even if the setting is the same. It’s all about the people. They make the day!
And this was a great day and a real pleasure to photograph.
Esra and Ian have a beautiful 2 year-old boy (who spent the ceremony sitting on his Dad’s lap) and a great group of friends. My favourite part of the day was a very funny speech by Esra’s bridesmaids that had the whole pub in fits of laughter. I also loved the little sausage dog that came to join the party.
Esra is a TV costume designer. She used her expertise for sourcing a £60 dress on Ebay and making all the alterations herself. She looked amazing. It just shows that you don’t need to spend thousands of pounds on your wedding outfit.
Esra and Ian – thank you so much for having me! Congratulations on tying the knot. You are a beautiful little family and I’m sure you will have a very happy life together.
