It’s time for me to share another one of my summer weddings – Alice and James’ London pub wedding at the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town.
I love a pub wedding and the Bull and Gate is a particularly beautiful pub…but let’s start at the beginning.
Alice and her immediate family got ready at Gray’s Inn – another one of my regular London wedding venues. We then jumped in a taxi and made our way to the stunning Old Marylebone Town Hall. Alice and James tied the knot with a short yet heartfelt ceremony, followed by confetti on the stairs of this elegant and historic building.
After a bit more mingling (and, of course, some photos on the steps), a Routemaster bus took us to the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town. I lived in this part of London many years ago, and it was really nice to return.
The Bull and Gate is a stylish yet cosy Victorian pub. The mix of modern and traditional decor made for a prefect backdrop to Alice and James’ wedding reception.
The feel of the day was super relaxed and down to earth with funny speeches, lots of mingling with the guests, and the longest (and most exciting) game of Jenga I have ever seen.
Alice and James, it was such a pleasure spending the day with you. I wish you all the best for the future and a long and happy life together.

If you are planning a wedding reception at The Bull and Gate in Kentish Town, get in touch to tell me all about your plans. I would love to hear from you.
