It was a real pleasure to photograph Vivienne and Giles’ Hixter wedding earlier this year.
I love interesting interiors and beautiful architecture and this wedding was a real treat. Vivienne and Giles picked some wonderfully charismatic and unique venues for their wedding celebration. Vivienne got ready for her big day at the delightfully eccentric Batty Langley’s Hotel in Shoreditch. Not only did the room have an opulent four-poster bed and roof terrace but there was a secret cloakroom hidden behind a bookshelf.
From there, we moved on to Hixter Bankside for the wedding ceremony and reception. The quirky and stylish interiors made a great backdrop to the celebrations.
Vivienne and Giles’ daughter did a beautiful reading during the ceremony. There was lots of humour and a great atmosphere throughout the day.
Following a day of celebration, Vivienne and Giles threw a party for all of their friends in the unique and ornate Victorian Bathhouse, a hidden gem right in the centre of London.
Congratulations to Vivienne and Giles! It was so lovely to be a part of your glamorous yet totally down to earth wedding. I wish you all the happiness in the world!
