It is time for another Favourite in Focus – a series where I take a closer look at some of my favourite photographs I have taken over the years.
I captured this little moment at Sally + Toby’s Stoke Newington wedding last year. The picture shows Sally’s lovely Mum as she watches her daughter walk up the aisle. The look on her face says it all. To me, this photograph is so much more meaningful than a posed photo of mother and daughter.
Seeing their children get married is a huge deal for most parents. That’s why I always make sure to take lots of pictures of Mum and Dad throughout the day, particularly ones that show the special relationship between them and the happy couple.
