This has to be one of my favourite arrivals of a bride ever. I always work hard to get a good photograph of the moment a bride arrives at the wedding ceremony as I think it is a key part of the story of the day.
Instead of arriving by car – or by foot – Raquel made the journey by river taxi. Raquel and Sam got married on the HQS Wellington – a boat moored on the Thames. So a journey on the river was the obvious choice.
I love Raquel’s windswept look – it adds movement to the picture – and of course, her big smile – totally natural and unposed.
