This has to be one of my favourite arrivals of a bride ever. I always work hard to get a good photograph of the moment a bride arrives at the wedding ceremony as I think it is a key part of the story of the day.
Instead of arriving by car - or by foot - Raquel made the journey by river taxi. Raquel and Sam got married on the HQS Wellington - a boat moored on the Thames. So a journey on the river was the obvious choice.
I love Raquel’s windswept look - it adds movement to the picture - and of course, her big smile - totally natural and unposed.
