Helen and Paul found me through a mutual friend, Jenny Hardcore, who is a brilliant music and portrait photographer. Thank you for putting us in touch, Jenny!
Helen and Paul’s wedding took place in December at Glenmore House in Surbiton, Surrey. Helen was a stunning Winter Bride and reminded me a bit of Snow White in her fabulous dress and cape.
I loved the groovy “Tube Map” seating plan and the very personalised DIY placecards – Helen and Paul had gone through the trouble of finding a photograph of each of their guests for the placecards, which made for great entertainment when the guests were being seated.
Helen and Paul are such a lovely couple who obviously had a blast on the day. There were lots of big smiles and giggles with the guests, which made my job as a documentary photographer very easy.
One of my favourite parts of the day was the Father of the Bride’s speech. Helen’s Dad did such a lovely job and even sang a song for his daughter – very touching.
All in all, it was a wonderful day that left me with a warm glow.
Helen and Paul, it was such a pleasure to photograph your wedding. I wish you all the best for 2011 and for many years to come!
