Anna + Ollie’s Bourne and Hollingsworth Wedding Reception

Bride and groom at Old Marylebone Town Hall

In spring this year, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Anna + Ollie’s Bourne and Hollingsworth wedding – and what a fun day it was!

Anna got ready in a totally amazing house and wore a totally amazing dress. She went non-traditional with a 1970s inspired evening dress with gorgeous red seams that matched her bridesmaids’ red dresses. The house belongs to Anna’s friend’s parents and is a wonderful mixture of modern architecture and beautiful antiques and art (complete with a cute Jack Russell). It made such a great backdrop to the bridal preparations.

Anna and Ollie got married at the exquisite Old Marylebone Town Hall to lots of cheering from their friends and family. Again, they ignored tradition and walked up the aisle together.

Following hugs, well wishes and photos on the magnificent stairs outside the Old Marylebone Town Hall, we made our way to the fabulous Bourne and Hollingsworth Buildings in Clerkenwell. What a great space for a wedding reception – light and bright and filled with green tropical foliage with mismatched colonial inspired furniture and stunning artwork.

There was a relaxed meal, entertaining speeches including one from Anna as well as her bridesmaids, and the cutting of two caterpillar cakes.

Anna and Ollie – thank you so much for letting me be a part of your fun, relaxed and very unique wedding celebration. You were a pleasure to work with and I wish you all the happiness in the world.
