Sara Jane contacted me after coming across my previous Palmers Green family photography session. She was looking for a baby photographer to capture her little boy Adam in a natural and relaxed way. No poses, no fake smiles.
I visited this lovely Palmers Green family and spent a couple of hours with them, documenting what life is like in the Ashiru household. We hang out in their beautiful home and captured Adam playing with his favourite toys, playing peekaboo with his Daddy, and running around the flat. I feel it is really important to photograph families in their home where they are surrounded by everyday objects that may not feel very special now but will do when you look back in 15 years time.
Adam is a very active (and very sweet) little boy and the family spend a lot of time in leafy Broomfield Park, which is just around the corner from them. So I joined the family for their outing to the park to play football, pick flowers and look at the ducks.
Whilst I mainly photograph weddings, I love working with local families and capturing their daily life. And it was a real pleasure to work with these guys.
