A couple of weeks ago, I photographed Emma and Greg’s sweet and intimate wedding ceremony at Asia House in Marylebone in London.
Emma sent me the loveliest email asking whether I could document her wedding ceremony. It was really important to her to have some natural and candid photographs of the day, in particular of her 5 year old daughter, Isabella, and the other children who would be at the ceremony.
The wedding was small and relaxed, with only close family attending. It was lovely observing and photographing Isabella and her cousins who were playing hide and seek, making signs and were generally having a great time. I also enjoyed capturing the family making the most of the stacked bookshelves at beautiful Asia House, browsing through the titles before the ceremony.
The wedding ceremony itself was informal and personal with Emma and Greg each reading a poem. I loved Emma’s 1960s-inspired look and it felt like a real honour to be a part of such a small and lovely wedding.
