This was such a lovely wedding – and one of the most relaxed I have ever photographed.
Nimali and Graham planned their wedding in just a few months, which given that they have a little baby and a preschooler is even more impressive! I struggled to even organise a trip to the dentist when Cosmo was first born, never mind a wedding reception.
Nimali and Graham tied the knot at the picturesque Merton Registry Office, which looks very much like a Stately Home and is set in beautiful Morden Park. Nimali and Graham were surrounded by their closest family and friends. Graham’s brother lives in Australia and dialled in on Skype to watch the happy couple make their vows. After the ceremony, we all went outside for a laid-back champagne reception in the park.
A few days after their small and intimate Merton Registry Office wedding, Nimali and Graham celebrated with a garden party at Nimali’s Mum’s house, which I had the pleasure to photograph. It was an open house with people coming and going. The sun was shining, there was a paddling pool and LOTS of cake. What more can you ask for?!
Nimali and Graham – it was such a pleasure to get to know you and your wonderful families, and be a part of your wedding celebration. I wish you and your little boys all the joy and happiness in the world.
We were blessed to find Annelie and that she was available to photograph our wedding and wedding celebrations. She’s such a talent, she was so easy to work with, and offered a range of packages to suit our budget. The resulting photos were fantastic – unstaged, natural and captured the love and laughter of the day so well. They are stunning and will provide us with memories we will treasure forever.
