I thought I would chose something a bit different for my favourite in focus - a detail shot. Most pictures on my website are candid photographs of emotions and interactions. However, as a documentary wedding photographer I do also take pictures of the details as I think they are part of the story of the day. Whenever possible, I capture details in situ to not interrupt the flow of the day.
I took the picture of this little flower girl wearing a beautiful flower crown on a Routemaster bus when travelling to the reception venue. I love the light and the way the selective focus shows off the pretty details.
