The Pepys Pub Wedding

Heather and Adam

This was a quintessentially London wedding.  There was a red bus, a pub by the river and unrivalled views of London’s skyline.

It was a great pleasure to return to the beautiful Asia House for Heather and Adam’s wedding ceremony.  I have photographed quite a few weddings at this elegant venue but each time feels different. Asia House has a wide selection of stunning rooms available so the surroundings are varied and each couple’s unique personality gives a different feel to the day.

Heather and Adam hired a big red bus to transport their guests from the ceremony to their reception venue for a The Pepys Pub wedding.  Adam had carefully planned the route to take in lots of London’s sights and famous landmarks.  A lot of the guests had travelled from other parts of Britain to be there – Heather was born up North – so it it was nice to fit in a tour of the capital.

The historic Pepys pub is set right on the North Bank of the Thames and makes a fantastic place for a wedding reception. The views are wonderful and we were treated to a stunning sunset over the iconic Shard.

Heather and Adam love to travel (despite Heather being scared of flying).  They have been to the States, Cuba and got engaged in St Petersburg.  They incorporated their love of travel into their table plan and centre pieces by naming the tables after their favourite destinations they have visited together.

Heather and Adam – it was so lovely to be a part of your special day. I wish you a wonderful life together. May all your dreams and wishes come true.
