Take a look at this wonderful London wedding with some very funky and interesting urban locations.
Nicola and Lloyd got married on a sunny August afternoon in the iconic Christ Church in Spitalfields in East London. Nicola looked stunning in a a full-length Valentino dress with pretty embroidered stars. The ceremony was personal and humorous and even included some references to Ikea!
Afterwards everyone gathered on the imposing staircase to congratulate the very happy couple and then hopped on a Routemaster bus to travel the short distance to the fantastic Snap Studios in East London. This urban London wedding venue is a wedding photographer’s dream, with light streaming in from large windows, exposed brickwork, white-washed walls and lots of interesting vintage centre pieces. Nicola and Lloyd had decorated it beautifully with gorgeous British summer flowers and postcards from their own collection, creating a unique and personal feel. There is also a large roof terrace where guests could lounge on bean bags and enjoy some canapes.
The whole day had a very relaxed warm and relaxed feel and it was a real pleasure to photograph this wedding.
“Working with Annelie was a pleasure throughout. Efficient and organised but more importantly, warm and considerate on the day. We did a few organised shots outside the church and the rest of the day she blended in almost unnoticed while still managing to capture really natural shots of everyone and the day. We were so delighted when the pictures arrived that we’ve inflicted them repeatedly on everyone we know!”
