I took this photograph a few years ago but it still remains one of my all time favourites. I adore the tenderness and vintage feel to this image.
I love photographing weddings where the bride and groom are parents. It gives me a chance to photograph another very special connection and kids at weddings make for great subjects!
This picture was taken during the bridal preparations. Emily, the bride looked so stylish in curlers – like a 1950s Hollywood star. There was a lot going on with people getting ready in every room of Emily’s warm and beautiful childhood home. Emily’s gorgeous twin daughters were getting excited and maybe a little anxious about the day ahead and Emily took some time out from getting ready to reassure them with a kiss and a cuddle.
