My 365 Project – Month 9

The time has come again for me to share my favourite photos of this month of my 365 project – a project where I take and share a picture every day for a whole year.

Christmas has brought in lots of light into the winter darkness and I have enjoyed playing around with reflections of Christmas lights as well as double exposures. It’s an exciting time of year with lots of lovely things to photograph, like decorating the tree or hanging out with family members. The Christmas holidays also meant that I got to spend more time with Cosmo.  It was lovely having him around, And having the whole day, rather than just the rushed morning before school or the dark afternoons, has given me many more opportunities to get a good picture for the day.

We were away for most of the holidays.  We spent Christmas with my family in Germany at my grandma’s house.  I have moved around a lot throughout my life but celebrating Christmas at my Oma’s house has been a constant.  Every Christmas in my life has been spent there.

After that, we went straight to Cornwall for a few days to spend time with the other side of the family.  Despite lots of family meet-ups, we did make it out to the beach for a bit.  There is something really special about the seaside in the winter.
